EULALIA
The Central Beach below the splendid promenade is an extremely good long, wide beach of fine white sand drawn from the sea. The waters are clean and shallow, safe for children. The Mariner's Beach to the south is one of the wonders of Spain, to be found here is where the only river in the Balearics runs into the sea over a shallow sand bed, creating a dramatic confluence of patterned shades of blue. The big, triangular beach on this point is ideal for swimming and paddling in the shallow, crystalline waters. The resort itself is reasonably up-market, with a chic marina and dozens of very good restaurants in the back streets (especially Calla St Vicente). The view from the church on the hill is well worth the effort of the uphill walk to get there.
