MONEY SERVICES

We are a Bureau de Change, registered with the Bank of Spain, authorised to exchange all types of foreign currency, whether in notes or Travellers Cheques, as well as cheques in Euros. To comply with the latest Bank of Spain regulations, and for your ease of use, we quote you the exact price which we will pay you for your currency. Unlike the UK and many other exchange outlets here in Spain, we charge NO COMMISSION whatsoever for any FOREIGN currency exchange. We do, however, charge a small (3%) commission for changing Travellers Cheques in Euros.

Advice to all travellers to Spain.
We recommend that you exchange your money in Spain, rather than at home, because experience has taught us that you will normally get a much better rate for your money here than than you will from your Travel Agent or Bank at home. Although many Travel Agents state that they do not charge commission, they pay a significantly lower rate. The Banks not only pay a lower rate, but charge you up to 3% commission on top of it. Please note that if you have Travellers Cheques in Euros YOU WILL BE CHARGED A FEE of up to 10% to exchange them, no matter where you go. The Banks charge anywhere from 1.5% to 3% and many hotels charge 6%. Many of the disreputable Bureaux de Change will charge you 8%-10%.

MONEY TRANSFERS

We are official Agents for WESTERN UNION money transfers, so if, for whatever reason, you need money urgently, you can get it sent from anywhere in the World to you here in Ibiza. All you have to do is get someone to pay some money into a Western Union Agent back home and, within a very short, you will be able to collect it from any one of our Shops. This service is available from 9.30 am until 10.30 pm, every day.
