Ibiza Ibiza Towns :

There is more to Ibiza than meets the eye. If you are on a package holiday and are staying in Playa D'en Bossa, San Antonio or somwhere else around the island, jump in a bus, or hire a car and go see the island.

Below is an overview of some of Ibizas' hotspots

A quick tour of the island

Ibiza Town is the capital of Ibiza island.

Ibiza Town is full of character, where you can stroll amid people from all walks of life. The marina area has a very cosmipolitan feel to it. There are bars, cafes and designer shops all along the waterfront. If you wander into some of the backstreets, you will encounter the old town. These streets are very narrow and the doorways are very low, this reflects the original Ibicencan style. If you visit this area in the evening, you will be pleasantly surprised. The streets come alive with life. All the little doorways lead to bars and restaurants. There is a large gay community in this area and some bars/clubs reflect this.

Playa d'en Bossa is a large beach resort that offers something for everyone.

It's located south of ibiza town and has a very long beach. Visit the beach area in the early evening and you will see Bora Bora club in full swing. The music is laid back and funky and the dress code is anything (usually beachwear). The shallow water is great on a clam day, but be cafeful of the undertows on the windy days
Wander around the vast array of bars and cafes in the evening. Most have terraces, so it's the perfect place to people watch.
